Terms of Use

Effective Date: 04/21/2025

 

These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern the use of services and products provided by Life & Legacy Notary Foundation (“the Foundation”). By purchasing a workbook, any other products,  or utilizing our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our products or services.

 

1. Included Notary Services

 

  • Each qualifying workbook purchase includes one notarial session conducted during a single appointment. The notarial services must relate directly to the contents of the workbook purchased, as determined by the Foundation.

  • Proof of purchase is required to redeem such included services.

  • Amendments or revisions made after the original signing are not eligible for included notarization. These will require a separate appointment and additional fees.


 

2. Service Area and Delivery Options

 

  • Clients may redeem notary services in one of the following ways:

  1. In-Person Notarization: Within a 35-mile radius of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

  2. Remote Online Notarization (RON): Available by appointment, subject to identity verification and compliance with technology requirements.

  • Appointments outside the stated service area are not included and may incur additional fees.

 

3. Expiration and Scheduling

 

  • All eligible included notary services must be used within 60 days of the date of purchase. If not used within that time frame, the included service expires and is non-redeemable.

  • Notarization appointments are subject to availability. We strongly recommend contacting the Foundation early to ensure scheduling availability.

  • Failure to schedule or use included notary services within the 60-day window is the sole responsibility of the client. The Foundation is not liable for unavailable appointments, especially if scheduling is delayed until the end of the timeframe.


 

4. Scope of Services

 

  • The Foundation retains full discretion to decline any service for any reason. This may include, but is not limited to, any service that:

  1. Falls outside the scope of our offerings.

  2. Conflicts with our mission.

  3. Compromises the quality or integrity of our services.

  4. Requires travel deemed unreasonable.

 

5. Legal Responsibility and No Legal Advice

 

  • The Foundation is not responsible for:

  1. The legality, accuracy, or completeness of any document

  2. Monitoring or updating submitted documents

  • We do not provide legal advice. Clients are encouraged to consult with an attorney or other qualified professionals regarding the legal validity of their documents.

  • The Foundation does not guarantee that any document provided or notarized will meet any specific legal requirement or be considered legally valid, binding, or enforceable in any jurisdiction. Notarization does not imply legal sufficiency, nor does it serve as a substitute for legal review.


 

6. Liability Waiver

 

  • By using our products and services, you agree to release and discharge Life & Legacy Notary Foundation, its officers, directors, staff, agents, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, or legal consequences, known or unknown, arising from your use of our materials or services.

  • The Client understands that it may be required to sign a liability waiver before receiving services.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client agrees to release, hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Life & Legacy Notary Foundation, including its directors, officers, staff, agents, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates, from any and all claims, liabilities, causes of action, damages, costs, losses, or legal consequences—whether known or unknown, direct or indirect, foreseeable or unforeseeable—arising out of or in connection with:

  • The use of any product, service, or document provided by the Foundation;

  • The failure of a document to meet legal standards or to be recognized, enforced, or accepted by any legal authority or entity;

  • The client’s reliance on any material, template, or communication from the Foundation as a substitute for legal counsel.

  • The client assumes full responsibility and risk for all outcomes and consequences related to the use, execution, or notarization of any document provided.



 

7. Refunds and Cancellations

 

  • Refunds for workbook and other product purchases must be requested within 30 days of purchase, and only if no included notary service has been used.

  • Once any included service is redeemed, the workbook or product becomes non-refundable.

  • Any scheduled services will be terminated upon approval of a refund of relevant products.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling of services must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations of services made with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will incur a $10 fee per missed session.

 

8. Modifications

 

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms become effective upon posting.

 

9. Jurisdiction

 

  • These Terms of Use and any other operations are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.

 

10. Copyright and Intellectual Property

 

  • All materials in this workbook—including but not limited to text, designs, templates, formatting, and written content—are the intellectual property of Life & Legacy Notary Foundation and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

  • You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, upload, or transmit any portion of the content without prior written permission.


 

By purchasing a Life & Legacy Notary Foundation workbook or scheduling notarization services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
